The Shelf Life of Success

What motivates your achievements? Success? Helping others? Boastfulness? Are we sharing for the right reasons?

Take a gut check here. Learn two things that can make your achievements more impactful and purposeful in my video.

Bow out of browbeating, slow the focus on setbacks and fully engage in your accomplishments.

Here are three simple ways to enjoy the ride and give yourself props for doing a job well done:

  1. Start a ritual for moments of achievement. Hike or meditate. If cake is your thing, get that slice from your favorite bakery and indulge without distractions.

  2. Design a gratitude session, one hour of thankfulness for the people that helped. Give pause for mental and physical strength, your family or support system and your future.

  3. Plug in 30, 60 and 90 anniversary markers in your calendar. Reminders of your achievement, even if it’s in the past is a good idea. Life can harden us especially during these times- use this technique to strengthen yourself as you go back into the trenches. Prompts like there are succulent confidence builders.

Please share this blog link with friends that might need a reminder to enjoy the success journey.
