Real, Raw Foresight

You and I have a choice in how we feel. We can select our thoughts and our responses to those thoughts. The problem rests in our forgetfulness, in our habits to be complacent, our acceptance to stay snug in comfort zones.

When we lack vision, we become shirking disciplinarians, drunken captains of the ship. This is so easy to do. But don’t feel bad. It’s also easy to undo; and this is the number one thing you must remember while moving beyond your current headspace.

Let’s Be Real.

Number two, know this: fear of the unknown can rattle us. It can prevent the smartest, most talented people from thriving. It denies dreams and perpetuates a false sense of self.

As a risk taker, you need solid starting blocks. No wavering. No quivering. Rigid. You must have clarity of the moment, and relentless foresight.

Let’s Get Raw.

At two different junctures in my career, fear hindered my performance. I allowed it. I own it. I don’t like owning unattractive qualities but that’s what it takes to clear stuff up and get on with it.

I want to help you solidify your stance on making impactful progress. Forward moving and forward thinking is the name of the game.

When you win, others can too. And that’s why I do what I do, we need more opportunities in order to make an impactful change in workplace culture, our communities and the world.

Let’s Get Ready.

The unknown is more known than you know. In order to optimize your life, I need you to believe this. I need you to live this with me every day. Millions of people have foresight. You have access to it too.

Sharpen this skill right now. Watch my video.

Here are THREE ADDITIONAL WAYS to sharpen the skill of seeing beyond your current circumstances.

  1. Daily Vision: Vision boards are always useful. Check in on this lifelong project, it may be time to spruce yours up. Tack it in an area where you see it each day, several times a day. Pause each time you pass it, call it what it is, “That’s my vision board” (saying this will bring you into the present moment). Instead of thinking about your next phone call or meeting, pause to acknowledge your dreams. Make them real in the present moment.

  2. Live it Now: Science shows us that the brain doesn’t know if what you’re thinking about is real or not, if it’s actually happening or not. Humans replay old experiences and an array of old emotions. We start to feel the emotions in our bodies, regardless if we’re actually living it or simply thinking about it.
You can do the same with the good things you want to happen in your future. Live your life like your goals are happening right now. Be in that mood, facial expressions, how would you speak, how would you feel awakening in the a.m., what does it take to make it feel real in the right now?

  3. Don’t Worry, Believe!: Do the best you can. Let it be. Detach from the outcome. We don’t have control over most stuff. Let go of the expectations surrounding the outcome, give it time to simmer and breathe.
It’s like trying to bake a cake when you repeatedly open the oven door. The heat escapes, jeopardizing the even baking. Let it bake.
